The Collin County Humane Society is looking for sponsors for its “Give a Dog a Home” gala set for 7 to 11 p.m. Sept. 11 at City Place, 2711 N. Haskell Ave. in Dallas.

Proceeds will go toward building a CCHS shelter in 2012. The event will feature entertainment by Jolie Holliday and include food, drink and a silent auction.

Tickets are $100 and include two drink tickets for beer/wine, appetizers, three-course meal, validated parking, a parting gift, and a chance to win items in the silent auction.

Sponsors for the event range from $5,000 to $500.
