In-Sync One-Mile Walk-a-ThonIn-Sync will host a one-mile walk-a-thon at Bob Woodruff Park in Plano at 4 p.m. Nov. 14.
There will be bounce houses, face painting, a dog agility course, and concessions available. Families and pets are welcome, organizers said.
Cost is $30 for adults and $20 for children. All proceeds will benefit In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Refuge.

National Alliance on Mental Illness of Collin County’s fall Family-to-Family classRegistrations are now being accepting for the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Collin County’s fall Family-to-Family class. This series of 12 classes is free and provides educational information to family members of adults with mental illness, organizers said.
The classes will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 to Nov. 21 at Custer Road United Methodist Church, 6601 Custer Rd. in Plano.
