National Night OutThe National Night Out Public Safety Expo will be Sunday, Oct. 11 in Founders Park from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event will feature Police, Fire, and National Guard displays and demos along with music, bounce houses and hot dogs.
Tuesday, Oct. 13, Turn Your Porch Light On, Meet Your Neighbors.

North Pointe Church of Christ free adult English classesNorth Pointe Church of Christ is offering free adult English classes. Daytime, evening and weekend times are available. Teachers are volunteers from North Pointe who have been trained as English tutors. Classes will be one student per teacher and include practice listening, speaking, reading and writing English using the Bible and other materials. Students must be able to read English. Poinsettia and Wreath SaleWylie Band Boosters are sponsoring a Holiday Poinsettia and Wreath Sale. Orders are being taken through October 31. Plants and wreaths will be delivered December 5 - 10.
Poinsettias come in 6" containers and are available in red, white or pink. Cost is $12 each.
20" wreaths are also available. Cost is $27.
