The District 10-4A teams are five games into the schedule, and the leaders are already beginning to separate from the pack.
Each team has two matches to go in the first pass through the district slate before starting the backside of that schedule with seven additional games.
J.J. Pearce, a team coming off of an appearance in the 2010 state tournament, only appeared to be napping during the non-district portion. They are undefeated at 5-0, a record that includes wins over both Wylie and Wylie East.
