Funeral services for Edith Mae Turner of Wylie will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at the First Baptist Church of Wylie. She will be buried next to her husband at the Wylie Cemetery.

 

Dr. A.L. Draper will officiate.

 

Mrs. Turner died May 10, 2009, in Plano.

 

She was born May 21, 1926, in Wylie to the late Asa Jackson and Amy (Lokey) Swaner. She married the late Lester Wesley Turner July 14, 1951.

 

Mrs. Turner worked for many years at Johnston’s Manufacturing in Wylie and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wylie.

 

Survivors include her children, Bobby R. Brundidge and his wife Margret of Wylie, David W. Brundidge of Wylie and Michael W. Turner and his wife Vickie of Wylie; brother, Billie Jack Swaner of Wylie; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
