Funeral services for Martha Ann King, 75, of Wylie, were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at the Wylie United Methodist Church with Pastors Kathryn Strempke, Ernest Walt and John Taylor officiating.  Interment followed at the Wylie Cemetery.  

Mrs. King died Jan. 22, 2012, in Dallas.

She was born in Dallas Dec. 11, 1937, to the late Warren Henry Hooper and Martha Lucille Knight Hooper.  She married Robert E. King on Sept. 8, 1956, in Mesquite.

She was a member of Wylie United Methodist Church. She was the owner of the Wylie Flower and Gift Shop.

Survivors include her husband, Robert E. King of Wylie; son, Bill King and his wife Donna of Winnsboro; daughter, Pam Wells and her husband Danny of Wylie; brother, Robert Jeff Hooper and his wife Ann of Ponder; grandchildren, Wendy Wells, Dana King, Haley Laake and her husband Michael, Brice King and his wife Lauren, Trevor King, Cole Wells, Quinton King; and great-grandchildren, EmmaRose and EllieKate Laake.

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
