A memorial service for Carol Aunchman, 79, will be held at Allen Funeral Home Chapel  at 3 p.m. Thursday Oct. 25, 2012. A private interment will take place at Bushnell National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.

She was born Feb. 27, 1933, in East Hampton, Mass., and passed away Oct. 20, 2012, in Plano.

Ms. Aunchman was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wylie. She loved attending and enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Wylie Seniors Center.  

Survivors include two sons, Don Baird and his wife Sheryl of Parker and Robert Baird of East Hampton, Mass.; and one daughter, Jill Evans of Springfield, Mass.; one sister, Barbara Figuerora and her husband Tony of Florida; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lyndhurst Aunchman; and two sisters, Peggy Denn and Joan Smith. 

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
