Brooks Ellenburg, age 78, was born July 6, 1934, and passed away Oct. 10, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.D. Ellenburg Sr.; one brother, Paul Ellenburg; and one sister, Helen Jennings.

He is survived by two brothers, E.D. Ellenburg Jr. and his wife Nell and Ralph Ellenburg; one sister, Annie Sue Harrison and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012. The funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct 13, 2012, at Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Fitzhugh Cemetery with Eric Hogue officiating.

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
