Bobby Ray Braley, age 77, of Wylie, passed away Sept. 10, 2012, in Frisco.
He was born Oct. 15, 1934, in Sims, to Roy Braley and Ruby (Kemp) Braley. On June 1, 1956, he married Frances Marie Stone in Naples.
Bobby proudly served in the United States Army. He worked for Plano Lumber and Hardware for 24 years as a material salesperson. In 2001 he retired from the Plano ISD, where he worked as a locksmith.
He is survived by his sons, Bobby Ray Braley Jr. of Allen and Gary Louis Braley of Wylie; granddaughters, Reagan Elizabeth Braley and Kamryn Rae Braley, both of Allen; brothers, R.B. Braley of Redwater, Willis Braley of Plano, John Braley of Bonham, Robert Braley Redwater, Bruce Braley of Copeville, Roger Braley of Farmersville and Horace Braley of Ivanhoe; sisters, Dorothy McElwee of New Boston, Venita Grist of Kingsland, Ark. and Doris Crane of Allen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Marie Braley; daughter-in-law, Mary Kay Braley; and brothers, Lee Roy and Benny Joe Braley.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Leonard Allgood officiating. Interment with military honors followed at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen.
Arrangements were under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen.
