Bobby Lee Ellis, age 75, was born Nov. 4, 1936, in Wylie and passed away Aug. 13, 2012, in Princeton.

A memorial service was held Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The family received friends and family from 1 p.m. until service time.

Mr. Ellis is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn May (Putnam) Ellis; his children, Bobby Glen Ellis and his wife Leigh of Wylie, Jeannie Smith and her husband J.D. of Wylie, Brian Voth and his wife Teresa of Frisco, Benjamin Voth and his wife Kelli of Rowlett, and Bruce Voth and his wife Laura of Ellkton, Ky.; brothers, Melvin Ellis Jr. of Wylie, Kenneth Ellis and his wife Mary of Wylie and Raymond Ellis and his wife Mary of Wylie; one sister, Betty Baric and her husband Tom of Little Elm; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Ellis and Lee Etta Reynolds Ellis; and a sister-in-law, Pearlie.

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
