Graveside services were held for Sarah Ann DeJerf at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Wylie Cemetery.

Mrs. DeJerf passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on July 23, 2012.

She was born Oct. 17, 1919, in Gary, Ind., to the late Daniel and Nell Davis.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. DeJerf; her sister, Adele Mitchell; and her great-grandson, Bradly Scott Griffin II.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Roy Pritchard of Wylie; her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Nancy DeJerf of Hume, Va.; her five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  We will miss her dearly.

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
