Maryellen Theresa “Dolly” Thursby, 88, of Wylie, formerly of Yorba Linda, Calif., died on Friday, July 13, 2012. 

She was born the youngest of four children to Pete and Julia Kiefer in Monessen, Penn., on Dec. 1, 1923. 

She married the love of her life, Bob, on Sept. 18, 1943.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three siblings, dogs, Sandy and Charlie, and her beloved sweetheart, Bob.

Dolly’s passions were music, her children, grandchildren and great-grandson, choir mates and, of course – her beloved Hershey’s chocolate.

Dolly is survived by three sons, Mark, Steven and Keith; their wives; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

She was a treasure to all who knew her.  Her sense of humor, wit and Irish fortitude will be remembered and missed by all.
