Memorial services for Terry Joe Brents of Wylie were held Sept. 6, 2008, at Allen Funeral Home Chapel.

Dr. A.L. Draper officiated.

Mr. Brents died Sept. 3.

He was born Feb. 5, 1944, in Antlers, Okla. to Thelma Hendrix Brents and the late Roland Brents. He married Patricia (Pat) Ann Lingo in 1971.

Mr. Brents was the owner of a vending machine supply company and had served in the National Guard.

Survivors include his children, Terrie Miller of Fresno, Calif., Roland Brents of North Richland Hills, Ron Brents of Aspermount and Tanya Hope of Rowlett; his mother, Thelma Brents of Antlers, Okla.; brother, Don Brents of Antlers, Okla.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Roland Brents and his wife, Pat Brents.

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
