A funeral service for Joey Crumpley, 48, of Farmersville, was held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2012, in the Lynch Funeral Chapel of Greenville with Randy Rather officiating. Interment followed at Lynch Cemetery in Rains County.
Mr. Crumpley died June 19 in Greenville.
He was born March 17, 1964, in Fort Worth, to James and Paula Crumpley.
He worked as an EDI Specialist for PrimeLending Mortgage Company. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid Rangers fan and loved to follow NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon. Joey loved to go fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Susan Crumpley; daughters, Courtney Nakos and her husband Spiro of College Station, Nicole Crumpley of Ft. Myers, Fla., Jessica Crumpley and her fiancé Derick Harris of Wylie; parents, James and Paula of Quinlan; brother, Jeff Crumpley and his wife Susan of Spicewood; grandmother, Lucille McAdams of Garland; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
