Branson Joe Brannon of Lavon was born Sept. 11, 2011 to Cody Joe Brannon and Britni Dawn Brannon. He died unexpectedly June 12, 2012, at the age of 9 months.

He is survived by his parents; his brother, Stetson Layne, age 5 and sister, Kinlee Dawn, age 2; his grandparents, Angela and Jackie Edwards of McKinney, Pam and Chris Hobbs of Abilene, and Troy Brannon of Newcastle.

John Spencer officiated a memorial celebration with family and friends June 16 at Lonestar Cowboy Church in Nevada.

What can you say about such a short life?

He was easy to love …

He liked to follow his brother and sister around.  Wherever they were, he could be found crawling behind.  He was the first thing Kinlee asked for each morning. And he loved to climb around on his big brother. He was often seen in Stetson’s lap or laying on Stetson’s belly.

He liked to cuddle, and when he went to sleep, he liked to snuggle up and hide his face in the crook of your arm.

His mama could make him laugh, but his daddy could make him grin.

He had a life well lived.  He loved … and he loved being loved.
