Ronald R. Lynch, 73, of Sachse, passed from this life on May 2, 2012, in Wylie.

He was born in Detroit, Mich. on Jan. 28, 1939, to Richard and Bernice Sherrer Lynch.

In 1956, Ronald married Rita Azarovitz in Detroit. They were blessed with four children. Ronald was an auto mechanic and really enjoyed working on cars. He and Rita owned and operated service stations in Detroit and Arizona before moving to Texas. They have lived in Sachse for the past 19 years.

Ronald leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 55 years, Rita Lynch; his children, Sherry Kozey and her husband Jim of Arizona, Gail Bradley and her husband Rick of Garland, Dale Lynch and Cindy Shelley of Arizona and Dawn Peterson and her husband Todd of Wylie; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Parks and her husband Scott, Jimmy Kozey and his wife Amy, Ricky Bradley and his wife Ashley, Whitney Bradley, and Grant, Trey and Shelby Peterson; three great-grandchildren, Alissa Kozey and Brooke and Logan Parks; and a sister, Diane Langston and her husband John of Michigan. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a private family gathering to celebrate the life of Ronald Lynch.
