Patricia Ann Smith Sanchez of Wylie lost her yearlong battle with leukemia.

She was born in Houston on March 16, 1951, to the late Orville A. and Hazel E. Smith.

Her angelic acceptance was on Monday, April 9, 2012. She now watches over her husband, Russell Sanchez of Wylie; children, Cindy Beall of Spring, Angela J. Gillespie of Houston, Daniel J. and Alyssa N. Sanchez of Wylie; sister, Mildred N. Eckberg of Montgomery; grandchildren, Linda Diaz, Amber, Tyler and Justin Julian, Tabitha Keller, Jason Beall, and great-grandchild, Luke Diaz. Loving wife, mother and friend who is always in our hearts and never forgotten.

Patricia was loved and cherished by so many people. The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks and is forever grateful to all the family and friends who assisted in her care and well-being during the last year. And sincere thanks for the prayers and well wishes from all.

Services for Patricia were held on Saturday, April 14, at Addison Funeral Home, 18630 Kuykendahl Rd., Spring, TX 77379.
