Archie Dean Jones, age 69, passed away on April 10, 2012, in Plano.

Mr. Jones was born May 18, 1942, in Ft. Supply, Okla., to O.H. Jones and Ruth Jones (Dickenson).

He is survived by his wife, Lois Jones; son, Aaron D. Jones of Wylie; daughter, Gail Jones-Allen of Wylie; and son, Alan D. Jones of Celina; sister, Sandra Halling of Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Erica, Seraye, Cheyenne, Britney, Calder and Asher. 

Funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2012, at The First Baptist Church of Wylie. Interment followed at the Wylie Cemetery. Dr. Al Draper officiated.

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
