Mrs. Eleanor Glass Hendrex of Wylie, Texas, passed away April 4, 2012, in Wylie, Texas.

She was born July 14, 1924, in Farmersville, Texas, the daughter of L.A. and Mary Morrow Glass. She was married to Charles Ray Hendrex June 5, 1945, in Princeton, Texas, and he preceded her in death November 23, 2009.

She was a graduate of Farmersville High School and retired from Texas Instruments where she was employed as a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Wylie United Methodist Church in Wylie, Texas.

She is survived by her sons, Brent Hendrex and wife Lyn of Richardson, Texas, and Brad Hendrex of Wylie, Texas. She is also survived by her siblings, Mildred Ochoa of Richardson, Texas, and Larry Glass of Lake Tawakoni, Texas. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Leigh Alyson Kennon and husband Kevin of Plano, Texas, and Lauren Annette Meche of Chandler, Arizona, and three great-grandchildren, Rylie and Reagan Kennon and Maggie Rose Meche.

Memorial services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at the Hurst’s Fielder Baker Chapel in Farmersville with Rev. Kathryn Strenpke officiating. Private family interment was held at the Huson Cemetery Farmersville, Texas.
