Funeral services for Sheryl Jean Howard, 49, of Wylie, were held March 3, 2012, at Central Christian Church.  Interment followed at Restland Cemetery and Funeral Home.

The Rev. Hank Lamb officiated.

Mrs. Howard died Feb. 28 in Wylie.

She was born Jan. 10, 1963, in Raton, NM to Steve and Denese Leadabrand.

She graduated from Nimitz High School in Irving.  She was employed as a secretary at Central Christian Church. She enjoyed camping, hiking and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, James Howard; daughters, Melissa Karch and her husband Kevin, and Rebekah Howard; sister, Elizabeth Slate; and brother, Paul Leadabrand.

Memorials may be sent to Central Christian Church, 1651 E. Campbell Rd, Richardson, TX 75081, in memory of Sheryl Howard.

Arrangements were under the direction of Restland Cemetery and Funeral Home in Dallas.
