Mr. Watkins passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at his residence in Farmersville, TX.

Mr. Watkins was born in Lavon, TX June 8, 1934 to Bruddette and Lucille Watkins.  He was retired from Georgia-Pacific after many years of service.

Mr. Watkins is survived by his sons, Paul Ray Watkins and wife Star Lynn and Tony Crawford and his wife Stacie.  Also surviving are sisters, Naomi Daniel of Longview, TX, Donna Tarrant and husband Gary of Farmersville, TX; sister-in-law, Hazel Watkins of Wylie, TX; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Ellen, brother, Tully Watkins and sister, Dorthy Rains.

Visitation was held Friday, February 3, at Allen Funeral Home in Wylie, TX and services were held Saturday, February 4, at 11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church at Lavon.  Interment followed at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, TX and Pastor Clint Bratcher officiated.

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home in Wylie, TX.
