Funeral services for William (Bill) Clarence Duncan Jr., 85, of Wylie, were held Feb. 13, 2012, at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment followed at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas.

Dr. A.L. Draper officiated.

Mr. Duncan died Feb. 10, in Garland.

He was born in Dallas on July 24, 1926, to the late William Clarence Duncan Sr. and Ida Pearl Harvey Duncan.

He married Jackie M. Owen in Dallas on Oct. 26, 1956.  Prior to retiring he had worked for Doctor’s Hospital in the maintenance department.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wylie.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Jackie Duncan; three sons, Jimmy Wayne Duncan, Gary Lee Duncan and William Owen Duncan; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.  Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by son, Jackie Lynn Reid.

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
