Funeral services for Linda Nell Bennett, 59, of Wylie, were held on Jan. 20, 2012, in the First Baptist Church of Wylie.
The Rev. Billy Joe Harris officiated.
Mrs. Bennett died Jan. 18 in Garland.
She was born Oct. 20, 1952, in Dallas, to the late James Henry Kemp and Dorothy Nell Locke Kemp. She married James David Bennett on May 2, 1970, in Sachse. She was a computer tech at the Wylie Independent Schools. She was a resident of Wylie for over 40 years.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, James David Bennett; children, Larry Wayne Bennett, Jennifer Renee Jallo; brothers, Jimmy Lee Kemp, James Henry Kemp Jr; sisters, Margaret Gray, Nancy Armstrong, Barbara Boucher; and two grandchildren, Melinda Lynn Jallo and Lance Wade Bennett.
Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
