Jimmy McCaghren, 54, passed away suddenly Nov. 20, 2011. His graveside service was in Squaw Creek Cemetery in Glen Rose.
Jimmy was born April 9, 1957, in Lubbock. He was a 1975 graduate of Wylie High School and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from East Texas State University.
Jim continued his father’s legacy of ministering in music in gospel quartets and as a song leader at College Hill Church of Christ. He was an accountant for Halek Energy. He belonged to the Council of Petroleum Accountants Society and to Toastmasters International.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Marvin McCaghren.
Survivors include his loving wife, Bari McCaghren; sons, Andrew Mark McCaghren and Justin Davis McCaghren; mother, Sue (Nana) McCaghren Arant; and sister, Melinda McCaghren (Queenie) Montgomery.
