Mrs. Ratcliff died Sept. 22 at Garnet Hill Skilled Rehab Center in Wylie.

She was born May 8, 1917, in Clear Lake. She married Curtis Calvin Ratcliff on April 26, 1936, in Dallas. They were happily married for 72 years. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a homemaker, gardener, quilter and caregiver. She delighted in serving her friends and family.

Survivors include children, Mike Ratcliff and his wife Kathy of Garland, David Ratcliff and his wife Emily of Lubbock, Robin Kreymer and her husband Tim of Wylie, and daughter-in-law, Joann Ratcliff of Allen; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Linus and Maude Harper; husband, Curtis Ratcliff; son, Jack Harper Ratcliff; brothers, Tillman Harper, Marvin Harper, Willie Harper, Joe Harper, Allen Harper,  Albert Harper and Raymond Harper; sisters, Francine McLaughlin and Eva Dee Harper.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Heart to Heart Hospice of Texas, 1500 Waters’ Ridge Dr., #100, Lewisville, TX 75057 or a charity of your chioice.

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
