Funeral services for Michael Jay Dennis, 53, of Wylie were held Aug. 17, 2011, at Rest Haven Funeral Home Rockwall Chapel.
Pastor Blain Northfleet officiated.
Mr. Dennis died Aug. 12.
He was born Nov. 21, 1957, in Santa Anna, Calif., to Marvin James Dennis and Ruth Ann (Grigsby) Dennis. He served in the U.S. Air Force, worked as a machinist for Wylie Machine and Gemco and was a Junkyard Dogs Motorcycle Club member.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy (McGurty) Dennis of Wylie; daughter, Amanda Johnson of Plano; son, Kevin Harding of Wylie; father, Marvin Dennis of Rockwall; sisters, Cheryl Schaller and her husband Ron of Yantis and Shelly Dennis of Rowlett; brother, Patrick Dennis and his wife Sharron of Wylie; nephews, Christopher and Brandon Schaller and Paul Dennis; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Ann Dennis.
