Mrs. Wattier died July 22 in Irving.

She was born Aug. 10, 1947, in Greenville to the late L. D. and Edna Hart Greer.  On Dec. 20, 1972, she married Gary Wattier in Beeville.  She was a retired school teacher and a member of Wylie United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Wattier of Wylie; son, Jeff Wattier of Wylie; and brother, John Greer of Quinlan.  She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and brother, Jerry D. Greer.

The family requests memorials be made to the children’s ministry at Wylie United Methodist Church.

Arrangements were under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home of Greenville.
