Funeral services for John R. Zukosky, 73, of Wylie will be held at a later date.

Mr. Zukosky died July 10 in Plano.

He was born July 15, 1937, in Hartshorne, Okla., to John George Zukosky and Essie Lee (Perry) Zukosky.  He married Regenia Anne Stone in Double Springs, Ala. on May 27, 1963.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a hospital maintenance supervisor until his retirement.  

He was active in the YMCA on North Garland Avenue and attended First Baptist Church Wylie.

Survivors include his wife, Anne Zukosky of Wylie; son, Dave Zukosy and his wife Becky of Sachse; granddaughters, Keri Zukosky and Stefani Zukosky; sisters, Pat Gregg and Ann Thomas, both of Flat Top, Ala.; brother, Sam Zukosky of Flat Top, Ala.; sister-in-law, Judy Darnell and her husband Tim of Parrish, Ala.; brother-in-law, Pete Stone and his wife Linda of California; and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were under the direction of Rest Haven Funeral Home of Rowlett.
