Funeral services for Greg “Action” Jackson, 50, of Wylie were held July 8, 2011, at Northplace Church in Sachse.
Mr. Jackson died June 23.
He was the owner of several businesses in St. Paul, Lakeway Grocery, Lakeway Serious BBQ and Action Self Storages.
According to his family, he loved people and life and never met a stranger. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, water and snow skiing. Vacations were always at the top of his to-do list.
“He was an awesome father and loving husband and his family always came first,” they said.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Jill Jackson of Wylie; sons, Nick and Jake of Wylie; parents, Ralph and Wilma Jackson of Bowie; sister, Pam Jackson of Bowie.
