Miss Adams died June 17 in Lake Charles, La.

She was a recent graduate of Iowa High School and a member of the Chitimacha Tribe of Louisiana. Her family said she was “a free spirit.” Her hobbies included making dream 

catchers, bead work and photography.

Survivors include her father, Bobby Adams of Iowa, La.; mother, Chelsey Sisk Dupre and stepfather, Wilson Dupre of Charenton, La.; sisters, Haylee Bourgeois and Macie Dupre; brothers, Wilson Dupre, Ridge Dupre and Mavrick Dupre, all of Charenton, La.; grandparents, Michael and Linda Adams of LeBleu Settlement, La., Patricia Cadenhead and her husband Bert of Texas; uncles, Dwayne Landrum, Justin Landrum and Josua Cadenhead; aunt and “nanny,” Heather Shuff; great-grandmother, Marilene McBrayer Heierman of Texas; and great-grandfather, Wiford Sisk of Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Mickey Sisk, great-grandfather, Andrew McBrayer Jr. and great-grandmother, Ester Sisk.
