Funeral services for Raymond D. Williams, 86, of Wylie were held May 28, 2011, at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Sachse Chapel.
Mr. Williams died May 23 in Wylie.
He was born Aug. 16, 1924, in Somerville, Mass., to Harold and Lillian (Harcourt) Williams.
He lived in Richardson for the past 13 years. He had been a teamster and a member of the Moose Club in Massachusetts before moving to the Dallas area.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen F. (Noonan) Williams. He will be interred with her in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, Mass.
Survivors include his children, Ella McGrath and her husband William, Harold William, Cara Hesketh, and Raymond D. Williams Jr.; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in Sachse.
