A graveside service for J.T. Caldwell of Copeville was held May 18 at the Thompson Cemetery in Copeville.
Mr. Caldwell died May 16, 2011, in Plano.
He was born Oct. 30, 1921, in Copeville to John B. and Maybelle Denton Caldwell. He married Billie Faye Montgomery June 19, 1945, in Copeville.
Mr. Caldwell was retired from Santa Fe Railroad, served in the United States Army Air Corps, and was a member of the Wylie Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Fay Caldwell of Copeville; children, Johnny Caldwell of Lewisville and Judie Caldwell of Garland; grandchildren, Abbey Lamb and Karinae Zarate; brother Jack Caldwell of Garland; and sisters, Dorothy Tate of Farmersville and Christine Caldwell of Boyd.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
