Funeral services for Jimmie Kent Cummings of Farmersville were held March 18 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Farmersville.
Tim James officiated.
Burial followed in Blue Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Cummings died March 15 in Farmersville.
He was born Dec. 11, 1941, in Dallas, the son of S.A. and Artis Kent Cummings.
He was a project manager for Concho Construction and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Cummings of Farmersville; mother, Artis Cummings of Farmersville; children, Scott Cummings and his wife Traci of San Antonio, Anna Koenig and her husband Mike of Frisco, and Tammy Barr and her husband Jason of Wylie; stepchildren, Danielle Wright and her husband Kent of Grand Junction, Colo., and Benny Gatlin of Mt. Enterprise; siblings; Mike Cummings and his wife Debbie of Point; Pat Rutledge and her husband Calvin of Irving, Sharon Cummings of Blue Ridge, and Gayle Coomer of Farmersville; and eight grandchildren.
