Funeral services for Blanon Ray Bare of Wylie were held Feb. 17, 2011, at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment followed at Wylie Cemetery with Dr. A.L. Draper officiating.
Mr. Bare died Feb. 13 in Wylie.
He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Roscoe Bare; mother, Eula Elizabeth Orr Bare, both of Wylie; one son, Seth Harry Bare of Wylie; and sister, Ruthie Hyder of Athens.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Reba Gean Hawkins Bare of Wylie; son, Charles Thomas Bare and his wife Sharon of Farmersville; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements were under the direcction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
