Daniel Jackson Grayson, 30, of Dallas died Feb 9, 2011.
He was born April 28, 1980, in Houston to Cynthia Daniel Grayson and C. Jackson Grayson.
He is survived by his mother and father; his brother, Nicholas; aunt, Lisa Daniel Barba; cousins, Samantha, Jared, Robert and Skyler; three half-brothers, Chris, Randy and Michael; and his fiancée, Katherine.
Mr. Grayson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Norma Daniel.
He graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in computer science. He was self-employed as an education consultant specializing in education initiatives in math and science. “His work impacted many professionals across the nation and touched the lives of many,” his family said.
They said he enjoyed reading and traveled extensively. His favorite spots were Paris and Amsterdam.
“He was never without a book,” family members said. “Daniel was a caring and loving son, brother and companion with a brilliant mind and a loving heart. We celebrate his accomplishments and memories made.”
Funeral services were held Feb. 12 at First Baptist Church Murphy with interment following at Big Springs Cemetery in Richardson. The Rev. Dr. Don Cole officiated.
