Funeral services for Ronald Hubert Parham Jr., 41, of Nevada were held Feb. 11, 2011, at First Baptist Church of Lavon.

Pastor David Hood and Jeff Pendill officiated.

Mr. Parham died Feb. 6. 

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio,  to Patricia DePauw (Scott).

Mr. Parham’s family said he enjoyed watching sports and “anything and everything that had to do with his children.” 

He was a comedian, and his sense of humor will always be remembered and missed, they said.

Mr. Parham was passionate about his children, family and business and very blessed to have a close relationship with his stepfather, Leslie Scott, according to his family.

Mr. Parham was married to “his soulmate” of 18 years.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Parham; daughters, Courtney and Nicole; son, Brett; mother, Patricia DePauw (Scott); father, Leslie Scott; stepsisters, Krista and Shannon; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
