Funeral services for Michael  Allen Bahn, 55, were held Jan. 26, 2011, at Charles W. Smith & Sons, Sachse Chapel.

Mr. Bahn died Jan. 22 in Wylie. 

He was born Oct. 11, 1955, in York, Pa., to Larry Allen and Shelia Jane (Frey) Bahn. He grew up in York, Pa., and his family said he loved being around boats. He loved to sail, and when he and his family transferred to the Dallas area with his work, he continued to sail on Lake Texoma and Lake Lavon. 

He had a passion for golf and was active in Boy Scouts with his sons, his family said.

He was a project manager 

for telecommunications in Richardson. 

He and his wife Patricia have been married for 33 years.

Survivors include his wife, Pat; sons, Brian Bahn and his wife Holly and Brandon Bahn; father, Larry A. Bahn; sisters, Elaine Kohlhepp and her husband Kim and Diane Hasse; several nieces and nephews; and parents-in-law, Ronald and Phyllis Brenneman. 

Mr. Bahn was preceded in death by his mother, Shelia Jane Bahn.
