Graveside services for Nancy Rae Sampson, 60, of Royse City were held Dec. 15, 2010, at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Rockwall.

Mrs. Sampson died Dec. 9, 2010.

She was born Dec. 5, 1950, in Herrin, Ill. to Ray Talbert Rone and Louise Bessy (McNeil) Rone.  Her family said Mrs. Sampson was a loving mother and grandma, known as “MaMa.” She had worked as a foreman in the aluminum industry.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry Sampson and his wife Anita of Royse City, Mark Sampson and his wife Sandy of Wylie, Samuel Sampson and his wife Beverly of McKinney, Tony Sampson and his wife Celeste of Princeton and Jonathan Sampson of Royse City; daughters, Kandy Sampson, Margaret Sampson and Amber Sampson, all of Royse City; grandchildren, Courtney, Mason, Madison, Whitney, Brittany, Cheyenne, Caitlin, Briana, Faith, Nathan, Felicia, Justin, Everett, Abigail, Jonathan, Brooklyn, Justice, Blake, Jason, Cora, Damian, Jordan and Josey; and nieces, Gail and Joyce. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Margaret Ann Fergus.
