Memorial services for Hettie Louise Allsup, 94, of Wylie were held Nov. 20, 2010, at the Draper Chapel.

Dr. A.L. Draper officiated and vocalist Jordan Green sang.

Mrs. Allsup died Nov. 6, 2010, in McKinney.

She was born April 21, 1916, in Blue Ridge to the late John Henry Truelove and Cordelia T. Alley Truelove.  She married the late Virgil Allsup Oct. 23, 1937.

Survivors include her sister, Mary Collins of Garland; nieces, Debra Tyson of Wylie and Mary Louise Truelove of McGregor; nephews, Dudley Truelove of Grapevine, Thomas Truelove Sr. of Southlake; great-nieces, Ashley Tyson of Wylie and Jamie Tyson of Wylie; great-nephews Tom Truelove Jr. of Southlake and Taylor Truelove of Southlake; and several beloved cousins.  “Our beloved sister and Aunt Louise will be greatly missed,” her family said. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Vern Allsup; parents, John and Cordie Truelove and brothers, Jimmie Truelove and Kenneth Truelove.

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
