Funeral services for Miranda Mae Ragsdale, 16, of Nevada were held Nov. 23, 2010, at First at Firewheel in Garland.

Dr. E. Wayne Hanks officiated.

Miss Ragsdale died Nov. 18 in Dallas.

She was born Nov. 17, 1994, in Austin to William Craig and Zina Denice (Donaldson) Ragsdale.  Miranda was in the 10th grade at Community High School where she was involved in volleyball and the drama department.  She was a member of First at Firewheel.

Survivors include her father, Craig Ragsdale and his wife Angelia of Nevada; brothers, Lance Ragsdale of Nevada, Dustin Ragsdale and his wife Elizabeth of Plano, Chris Burrow of Garland and Teddy Ragsdale of Nevada; sister, Pamela Ragsdale of Nevada; nephews, Rylie and Charlie Ragsdale of Plano; grandparents, Bill and Mona Ragsdale of Crystal, Okla., and Ginger Henson of Austin; uncles, Mark Ragsdale and his wife Pam of Garland, and Wayne Donaldson and his wife Sharon of La Grange; aunts, Beverly Roseman of Austin, and Melissa Adams and Michelle Larson, both of S.C.; cousins, Lori and Megan Ragsdale; and numerous other cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Zina Ragsdale; and nana, Shirley Ragsdale. 

Arrangements were under the direction of Rest Haven Rockwall Chapel of Rockwall.
