Funeral services for Peggy Kirkland, 49, of Wylie were held Nov. 13, 2010, at Calvary Baptist Church in Post.  Interment followed at Terrace Cemetery.

The Rev. Harper Newman and Rev. Darren Weaver officiated.

Mrs. Kirkland died Nov. 10 in Wylie.

She was born May 10, 1961, in Floydada to Richard and JoAnne (Wilkins) McDaniel. She married Charles Kirkland Nov. 25, 1978, in Post.

Survivors include her husband, Charles of Wylie; sons, Ryan Kirkland and his wife Kimberly of Wylie and Kyle Kirkland of  Wylie; brothers, Richard McDaniel of Killeen and Paul McDaniel of Levelland; sisters, Joanie Johnson of Crosbyton, Kay Clevenger of Hewitt, Shelia Hancock of Midland, Mary Lackey of Lubbock, Becky Oberhoff of Crosbyton and Alice McMurrian of Nampa, Idaho; and one granddaughter, Ryley DeAnn Kirkland of Wylie

Arrangements were under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.
