Funeral services for Leo V. Gudel, 75, of Nevada were held Oct. 25, 2010, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wylie.
Father Andrew Semler officiated.
Mr. Gudel died Oct. 19, 2010.
He was born April 5, 1935, in Wilkes Barre, Penn. to Michael and Constance (Volinski) Gudel.
Mr. Gudel was a press operator in the steel industry and a member of the steelworkers’ union in Edison, N.J.
He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, where he participated in S.A.S.S.Y., the “Seniors Staying Young” group.
Survivors include his wife, Irene (Matulewicz) Gudel of Nevada; son, Leon V. Gudel of London, Ky.; daughters, Mary C. Baird of Port Richey, Fla. and Dianne M. Gampher of Rowlett; and grandchildren, Tia Marie Gudel, William D. Baird, Amanda L. Gampher and Christopher D. Gampher. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Arrangements were under the direction of Rest Haven Funeral Home of Rockwall.
