Funeral services for Steven Gregory Hines, 43, of Garland were held Sept. 15, 2010, at the IOOF Cemetery in Farmersville.

Minister Eric Hogue officated.

Mr. Hines died unexpectedly at his home Sept. 11.

He was born July 27, 1967, in Fulda, Germany to Pamela Dianne Sisco Hines and the late Steven Vestal Hines. Mr. Hines was the owner of SMKY’s Cycle Repair in Wylie. 

He was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders and was of the Church of Christ faith. 

He married Amber Dawn Henry Aug. 2, 1986, in Wylie.

Survivors include his wife, Amber D. Hines of Garland; daughters, Britney LeeAnn Hines of Wylie, Sunni Nichol Montemayor and her husband Jose of Garland; mother, Pamela D. Hines of Farmersville; brother, John E. Hines of Keller; mother-in-law, Linda Morris of Wylie; in-laws, Jolyn and Leslie Schaffer of Wylie and Gina and Ken Reddings of Wylie; aunts and uncles, Wyndell and Ella Sisco of Hillsboro, Carrie Ann Sisco of Sanger and Doug and Sharon Hunt of Fayetteville, N.C.; and grandson, David Mathiue Montemayor.

Preceding him in death were his father; grandparents, D.W. and Virginia Sisco, Effie Chappell and V.H. Vines; two aunts and an uncle.

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
