Funeral services for Leta Texas (Bell) Baker, 96, of Union Valley were held Aug. 20, 2010, at Allen Funeral Chapel.  Interment followed at the Blue Ridge Cemetery.

The Rev. Butch Bruton officiated.

Mrs. Baker died Aug. 17 at her residence.

She was born May 14, 1914, in Tom Bean to the late Hozias Denton Bell and Alpha Caroline Rigney Bell.  She married the late William Monroe (Bill) Baker Jr. Aug. 29, 1936, in Farmersville.

Survivors include her daughter, Glenda Gayle Baker Ince of Wylie; grandchild, Terrie Lyn White; and great-grandchildren, Trenton Collins Hewett and Tatelyn Grace Hewett.

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
