Funeral services for Carl Casey Foster of Wylie will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at the Cottonwood Church of Christ in Wylie. Ministers Jim Hatcher and Eric Hogue will officiate.

Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Dallas.

Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, at Allen Funeral Home in Wylie.

Mr. Foster died Aug. 17.

He was born Dec. 25, 1912, in Liberty Grove.

He is survived by his wife of 75 years Gladys Neta Poor Foster; daughter Wilma Turner and her husband George, son Rick Foster and his wife Sharon, grandchildren Brenda Hensley, Gary Turner, Reagan Foster and Lucas Foster; two great-grandchildren; and sisters Betty Sherman and Joyce Foster.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Eula Foster, siblings George, Barney, Luke, Mary Murry and Nell Brawley.

According to his family, Mr. Foster was a talented electrician who was loved and respected by all who knew him.  He retired from North Texas Municipal Water District after 18 years of service.  He was a life long member of Cottonwood Church of Christ.
