Funeral services for Brittany Nicole Staples, 23, of Wylie, were held July 6, 2010, at the First Baptist Church in Allen.  Interment followed at the Forest Grove Cemetery in Fairview.

Pastor Steve Collins officiated.

Ms. Staples died July 2, 2010.

She was born Dec. 19, 1986, in San Angelo to Casey and Rhonda Staples.

Survivors include her parents, Casey and Rhonda Staples of Allen and Billy Montgomery of Snyder; sister, Lauren Pyles and her husband Gary of Denton; brother, TJ Staples of College Station; sister, Shelby Wilson of Victoria; grandparents, Jack and Fay Staples of Abilene, Byron and Anna Dye of Arlington, Ellen Oiler of Denton, and Doris Hill of Snyder; great-grandmother, Sally Parmer of San Angelo; nephew, Gavin Pyles and niece, Lyric Pyles.  She is preceded in death by Tommy Joe Montgomery of Grape Creel and James David Wray of Ashdown, Ark.

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
