Funeral services for Halburton Hatch, 90, of Wylie were held on June 1, 2010, at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at the Wylie Cemetery.
The Rev. Bruce Briscoe officiated.
Mr. Hatch died May 29 in Wylie.
He was born Jan. 21, 1920, in Watertown, Mass. to the late Floyd Garfield and Minnie (Bain) Hatch.
During World War II, he was a sergeant in the 84th Chemical Battalion of the U.S. Fifth Army. He was awarded the Bronze Star for heroic achievement in Italy.
Survivors include his children, Pamela Parker of Princeton; Stephen Hatch of Atlanta, Ga.; Dana Hatch of Indianapolis, Ind.; Gregroy Hatch of Wylie; and Michelle Morrical of Wylie; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marquerite K. O’Keefe.
Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
