Raymond and Josephine (“Pete”) Truesdell of Mesquite celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Feb. 13, 2013.
Mr. Truesdell was a retired laboratory technologist. Mrs. Truesdell retired from the Mesquite ISD where she served as an aide in the Mesquite Regional Day School for the Deaf and later a campus secretary.
Their children are Judy Truesdell of Wylie, Donna Koehn and her husband Ken of Valrico, Fla., Jenifer Christman and her husband Woody of Allen, and Rod Truesdell and his wife Barb of Weaverville, N.C. Their grandchildren are Jensen Mecca, Cassie and Ben Koehn, Connor Christman, and Hannah, Emily and Patrick Truesdell.
The family gathered Feb. 16 for a celebration and ate Whataburgers so no one would have to cook.
