On July 24, Randall McGuire contacted American Legion Hale-Combest Post 315 Wylie concerning the USO initiative named Operation Hydration to collect bottled water for the troops at Fort Hood.

ATT Veterans Association’s goal for the USO initiative was to collect 2,500 cases of bottled water.  The cases of water were to be taken to the city of Richardson – Richardson Civic Center by 4 p.m. July 27.
