Wylie resident Anthony Resendez has been named catering sales manager for Great Wolf Lodge of Grapevine’s new conference center.

Resendez has more than 10 years experience in in catering group meetings and events.

With a degree in program management and hotel tourism, Resendez has been coordinating group meetings and events since 2002. He has been employed with Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine since November 2007. In his new role as catering sales manager, Resendez will detail all catering events and work to deliver the best service to all event coordinators and their attendees, Great Wolf Lodge officials said.

“With the additional space and anticipated growth in group meetings and events, it is necessary to grow and specialize our team,” Ken Broom, sales and marketing director, said. “We want to be able to deliver better quality and service as we concentrate on our Great Wolf tradition of food, focus and fun.”

Resendez is joining the existing sales and marketing team at Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine. This team consists of Director of Sales & Marketing Ken Broom, Sales Managers Carol Putnam, Richie Cook and Joyce Bernard, Conference Service Manager Susanna Briggs, Sales Coordinator Wace Forga and Public Relations Manager Amanda Sawyer.
